Warehousing and Storage
On site we have over 250,000 sq ft (23,225 sq metres) of internal racked storage space. Racking heights are flexible and can accommodate more than 15,000 pallets. In addition to the racked storage, we have extensive floor areas and a large yard which is suitable for both external storage of goods and parking. All of our premises are monitored by a controlled CCTV system.
We are equipped with our bespoke WMS (Warehouse Management System) that enables us and our clients to work via a real time stock control portal. With this system and the aid of hand-held terminals, picking our client’s stock is quick, efficient and accurate.
We offer a 24hr operational system which is essential to many of our client’s requirements. Whether it is bulk storage or fast-moving stock we can provide suitable and cost-effective warehousing solutions.
Distribution / Freight Forwarding
First GB have a well-established relationship with a number of major couriers, which enables us to offer our clients a variety of solutions to their distribution needs both quickly and at competitive prices. We can ship everything from letters to multi pallet orders around the world. We also have our own growing fleet of vehicles that enable us to fulfil your ‘just in time’ requirements.
Packing, Labelling and Inspection
We have a dedicated and experienced team who work within our processing department that offer bespoke solutions to your packing, labelling and reworking requirements. All orders are double checked once complete to ensure that client’s goods are distributed correctly and to the highest standard.
E-Fulfilment
Our system integrates with a number of other packages enabling simple data transfer of order files (inbound) and invoice files (outbound). If required we can offer an experienced and dedicated account manager to give clients peace of mind that their business is being looked after.
Container Handling
In total we have 3 internal loading bays which are managed by our experienced shop floor team. We are able to load and unload all types of vehicles indoors giving added security to our client’s goods.
We handle a wide range of inbound containers, unloading and palletising the contents for storage or onward transportation. Our aim is to have all client’s goods tipped and live on the system within 3 hours of a container arriving.
Returns and Reconditioning
We have a specialist team that work solely with returned products for clients, reconditioning stock where required to be sold on or written off either in house or via a contracted third party.
